So I've gotten some requests for me to put up pictures of the kids.Alyssa is my oldest, she's 4. You would think she is older because of her height, but don't let that fool you! She got 16 more inches until she catches up with me. (I'm 5 foot even.) Well, I can't believe how time has gone by so fast! She is just about to finish up her first year of preschool. She's got one more year and then it's off to kindergarten! I think I'll be a mess when that happens, but I've still got a little more time to prepare myself.
Now there's Van. He 19 months old and ALL boy! Totally opposite from Alyssa. He is such a climber! A couple of months ago, I caught him standing on the dining room table! He's also a quick one. (And smart too!) He pulled a chair up to the front window the other day, I thought it was to look out and see what's going on outside. Noooooo that wasn't the case! He wanted to stand on the window sill! I've got to keep my eye on that one!
My children are so beautiful! I could just be biased though! :) Oh yeah! Another reason why there was such a large gap between the last post and the previous one was that Van got his first stitches on May 2nd. He fell off his trike outside and his 2 top front teeth cut his lip pretty bad. He received four stitches. You can't see them that well because they are yellow, to help blend in with his lip. I didn't know a mouth could bleed so much! Well here are some pictures. He wouldn't let me take them, so I had to do it when he was sleeping.
